Jaems Murphy is guitarist and composer from Milwaukee Wisconsin. After studying music at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh he continued his education studying music production and jazz at Milwaukee Area Technical College. He teaches guitar and music lessons at Janus College Preparatory and Arts Academy in downtown Milwaukee.
Jaems performs solo guitar in a jazz style for clubs, restaurants, public or private events, and adult day-centers. His mellow jazz-rock band Etherium Ensemble performs his original compositions as well as arrangements of modern and pop songs such as "Karma Police" by Radiohead, "Norwegian Wood" by The Beatles, and "Royals" by Lorde.
His original mystic folk-pop ensemble, Jaems Murphy's Vedic Eden, released their new album "Mono No Aware" in February of 2014. February also saw the premier of their music video for the song "Right Your Will," directed by Jaems; filmed and edited by Gabriel Spaulding of ACE Enterprizes.
In 2010 he founded his own music-production house Eve'sDrop Records. Since then he has  composed, recorded or produced 9 recorded releases. Milwaukee band Herman Astro's WAMI nominated album "Chico" featured his horn section arrangements. Jaems worked with Active Across America and The Figureheads on their animated interstitial "Stinky Shoe and Coach Laroo," which was honored with Parents Choice Awards. Eve'sDrop Records is partnered with ACE Enterprizes and composes original music for their corporate and commercial productions. Jaems also works as a live-sound engineer for Colectivo Coffee's latin music and Florentine Opera summer music series in Milwaukee.
